CSCS push in Scotland
The Scottish Construction Forum recently stated that all workers on public sector contracts must carry a CSCS
Industry Accreditation
If you gained a CSCS card through Industry Accreditation and do not renew it within 6 months of its expiry and are not a member of a professional body or have not completed an apprenticeship, you should be aware of certain conditions for renewal. You will have to pass the relevant S/NVQ in order to apply for a new card.

Applying for a CSCS is easier than ever
In order to simplify the process of applying for a CSCS card, there are now only three types of application form, all of which are available from our website or by calling the Helpdesk. Alternatively contact SkillsDirect and they will organise everything for you
CSCS to go Smart
Later this year CSCS will be launching a Smart Card which will allow clients and contractors to integrate the information in their own computer systems with CSCS information
Millionth CSCS card on the horizon
Enquiries to the CSCS Helpdesk keep going up and up; Around 20,000 cards per month are currently being issued and we have recently presented the millionth card
