'What is the difference between Professional Membership Mapped Route of Entry & Professional Qualified Person (PQP)? '
The difference between these routes of entry is the length of time that the card holder spends on-site.
The Full Professional Membership Mapped Route of Entry (Supervisor/Manager) level cards are available to cover site based professionals who are qualified members of a Professional Body, where the Body has mapped their membership grade criteria against specific NVQs or SVQs up to level 4. The PQP card widens the scope of CSCS to cover non-site based professionals such as consultants, clients and engineers to ensure that everyone in the construction industry can demonstrate competence, qualifications and health and safety awareness the CSCS Scheme. Both routes of entry require the applicant to demonstrate they are up to date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and have passed an appropriate health and safety test to obtain a CSCS card.
