CSCS Smart Check desktop portal launched ahead of Go Smart withdrawal

Prior to the withdrawal of card checking platform Go Smart on March 31st 2024, the desktop version of its replacement CSCS Smart Check is now available at www.CSCSSmartcheck.co.uk.
CSCS Smart Check was launched as a mobile app in April 2022 and remains the only platform to check all 2.1 million CSCS-logoed cards from across the 38 CSCS Alliance schemes. Its predecessor Go Smart will no longer read cards from April 1st and sites using the technology must put transition plans in place to move across to CSCS Smart Check as soon as possible to ensure card checks can continue.
Alongside the addition of a desktop website, CSCS Smart Check is also available as an API for existing site access systems and a mobile app.
CSCSSmartCheck.co.uk is intended for those checking cards on PCs or laptops, with individuals able to verify the qualifications and training of their workforce by inputting the scheme, registration number and surname of the cardholder.
Sites wishing to build the CSCS Smart Check API into their existing site access systems or card checking technology should contact their IT provider. A full list of organisations with access to the CSCS Smart Check API is available via CSCS.uk.com/ITPartners.
The website is not intended for use on mobile and those checking cards via their phone should download the CSCS Smart Check app free via Google Play or the App Store.
