Lift and Escalator Testers to get Supervisor cards

Lift and Escalator Testers applying for CSCS cards will now receive a gold Supervisor card instead of a black Manager card. This change has been requested by the Lift and Escalator Industry Association.

To apply as a Lift and Escalator Tester, applicants must:

• Hold an NVQ level 4 Certificate in Performing and Testing Operations – Lift/Escalator.
• Have passed the Supervisor Health, safety and environment test, the Manager and Professionals Health safety and environment test or the Specialist Lift and Escalator Health, Safety and Environment test.
