  • Can I submit an employer application for someone who does/does not have a CSCS Online Account?
  • Yes. If you apply on behalf of a candidate who does not yet have a CSCS Online account, then one will be created for them during the application process. If you apply on behalf of a candidate who does have a CSCS Online account, then CSCS Online will search for their account using the personal details you provide, and link their account to your application.

  • How do I delete an application?
  • You can delete draft applications by signing into your CSCS Online account and clicking the “Applications” tab at the top of the screen. This page will display a list of all CSCS card applications you have saved as a draft. The option to delete a draft is located to the right of each entry.

    If you wish to cancel an application which has been submitted, contact CSCS.

  • What should I do if I have a problem submitting an employer application?
  • If you are having problems submitting an employer application:

    • Check that you are registered as an Employer, Training Provider or Third Party.
    • Check our employer application guide here.
    • Contact CSCS by using the Query function in your CSCS Online account.
  • What should I do if I lose my HS&E test score report
  • A copy of your HS&E test score report isn’t required to apply for or renew your CSCS card.

    All you need is your CITB ID number which can be found on your booking confirmation email when you booked your test or by accessing your CITB test account (there are reminders if you have forgotten your log-in details).

    If you do not have your CITB ID number, then you can still apply or renew a CSCS card. When you apply, CSCS Online will attempt to validate your H,S&E test using your personal information, including your name, date of birth, national insurance number and postcode. If this validation process fails, then the CSCS team will attempt to manually validate your test. This may delay your application.

    If you still need a copy of your score report, please use one of these methods:

    1. If you took your test after 26th June 2019, you can print your score report by logging into your Pearson VUE account. You will find this under the heading ‘score reports’. https://wsr.pearsonvue.com/testtaker/signin/SignInPage/CITB

     

    If you are still unable to find your score report you can contact Pearson VUE directly, but there is a charge of £10 to provide a duplicate score report.

  • What is the My CSCS app?
  • “my CSCS” is the official app of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme. The app makes it easy to access and use your virtual CSCS card on UK construction sites. The app is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, giving you instant access to the information you need when you need it.

  • Where do I get the app?
  • You can download the app from the Apple Store or the Google Play store.

  • What can I use the app for?
  • The app allows you to:

    1. Store electronic versions of your CSCS cards
    2. Use your virtual CSCS card to access site
    3. View the status of your card applications
    4. Manage your personal details
    5. Find out which CSCS card you can apply for
    6. Communicate with our customer service team.

  • I can’t sign up using my email address
  • The CSCS Online system only allows one account per email address. Please ensure that you are not attempting to sign up to CSCS Online with an email address you have used before.
