To apply for a CSCS card you need to prove you have the competence to carry out your job. The type of work you do, how experienced you are and your qualifications or membership of professional bodies will determine which type of CSCS card you should apply for.

You will also need to pass the ConstructionSkills Health Safety and Environment Test. There are different types of test and the occupations area will also tell you which test is the right one for you. You can book a test online or by calling 0344 994 4488
Once you have passed the test and know which card you need to apply for you can download an application form, complete it and return it with the documents required
