CSCS has robust procedures in place to verify qualifications. However, employers and other stakeholders within construction are also crucial in helping CSCS tackle fraud by checking not only cards but qualifications too.

Checking the validity of a Qualification
- Contact the relevant awarding organisation to verify the qualification (may be subject to a fee).
- For UK academic qualifications like degrees, contact HEDD for verification (subject to a fee)
- For qualifications obtained outside the UK, contact ECCTIS (subject to a fee)
You will need to provide qualification details and any available certificates or identification numbers.
If verifying qualifications through these channels becomes challenging, seeking guidance from the standard-setting body or regulator is recommended.
