Construction professionals in site management or supervisory occupations should apply for the Manager or Supervisor card, depending on their role.

While the Manager card is for those who have attained a Construction Management/Technical N/SVQ at the appropriate level, Site Supervisors must gain a construction-related Supervisory/Technical N/SVQ at the appropriate level. 

Managers will need to take the CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment test. Supervisors should book a CITB Specialist Supervisory Health, Safety and Environment test.

CSCS also offer the Experienced Technical, Supervisor or Manager card – suitable for those with on the job experience who are registered to complete their qualification. 

Neither CITB’s Site Managers nor Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS/SSSTS) are accepted for CSCS cards, but both can be added to the My Skills section of the My CSCS app.
