FAQs, provided by CITB

When will the new prices take effect?

The new prices will apply from 1 April 2026. Any bookings or purchases made on or after this date will be charged at the updated prices.

Why is CITB increasing prices?

CITB reviews prices annually to ensure they can continue delivering high-quality products & services and invest in product development. Although costs have risen in recent years, their prices have remained the same since 2022.

They recognise that any increase can be challenging, but they are no longer able to absorb rising costs without affecting the quality of what they deliver. This change allows them to continue meeting industry needs and customer expectations.

Will existing bookings be affected?

No.

Bookings made before 1 April will not be affected, even if the test or delivery date is after this date.

My test / course is after 1 April but already booked – will I need to pay any more?

If you have already paid for your test or course you will not be asked to pay anything else.
