A virtual CSCS card is the same as a plastic card but stored on a smartphone.
A virtual CSCS card appears in the my CSCS app as soon as an application is approved, and payment taken, meaning it can be used straight away to access site even if the equivalent physical card is yet to arrive.
The virtual card shows employers an individual’s photograph, qualifications, training, occupation and the card’s expiry date.
Site managers can digitally verify a virtual card using CSCS Smart Check.
