Renew Your CSCS Card Quickly and Easily with the My CSCS App

If your CSCS card is due to expire, renewing it has never been easier. The My CSCS app allows cardholders to complete your application, upload your documents, and access your Digital Skills Passport, all in one place. 

Available via the App Store and Google Play, My CSCS is the quickest and most convenient way to manage your CSCS card and keep your workforce credentials up to date.

Please note: Only individuals can apply via the app. Employers, Training Providers and Third Parties should continue to use CSCS Online.  

Before You Renew

Before starting your renewal application, make sure you have:

• A debit or credit card for payment.
• Your CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test pass letter showing your CITB Testing ID, or an approved alternative.
• Any additional documentation that may be required for your card type.

It’s important to check which Health, Safety and Environment Test is required for your card before booking. Passing the wrong test could delay your renewal application. You can use the CSCS Card Finder tool to confirm the correct test and card route.

Please allow 24 hours after passing your HS&E test before beginning your renewal application to ensure your test result has been updated on the system.

Renewing Your Card in the App

Once you’ve logged into My CSCS, simply:

1. Select the card you wish to renew.
2. Confirm your details.
3. Add your Health, Safety and Environment Test information.
4. Upload any additional evidence if requested.
5. Complete payment.

Depending on your card type, you may be asked to provide additional information such as:

• A Labourer Card Renewal Declaration Form.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Other supporting documentation relevant to your occupation or card route.

Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by CSCS.

Access Your Digital Skills Passport Immediately

One of the biggest benefits of renewing through My CSCS is that you don’t need to wait for your physical card to arrive.

As soon as your renewal is approved, your digital CSCS card will be available within the app. You can also access your Digital Skills Passport, giving you a complete record of your qualifications, cards, training and achievements in one place.
