Withdrawal of the Proqual Steel Erector Level 2 Diploma (601/5675/2)

Published: March 26, 2024

CSCS has formally advised the ProQual Awarding Body of the withdrawal of CSCS recognition for the ProQual Steel Erector Level 2 Diploma (qualification number 601/5675/2) effective from June 1st 2024.

The diploma will no longer be recognised as the qualification does not have the support of the relevant standard setting body and therefore is not compliant with the Construction Leadership Council’s One Industry Logo action.

The decision affects new applicants only. Existing cardholders remain unaffected and can continue to renew their card.

In advance of the June 1st 2024 cut-off, individuals already registered for the ProQual Steel Erector Level 2 Diploma, but have yet to complete the qualification, can continue to obtain their CSCS Skilled card. Upon achieving the qualification, please contact CSCS for further guidance on how to apply.

CSCS will not accept applications for a CSCS Skilled card for any individuals that register for the ProQual Steel Erector Level 2 Diploma from June 1st 2024 onwards.
