CSCS offers a range of red cards for those starting out in construction.

The Apprentice, Industry Placement, and Trainee cards are for construction workers who are working towards a qualification in the construction industry or have achieved a construction related non-competence assessed training qualification.

It is important for new entrants to industry to start their career on the appropriate red CSCS card as they show employers that the holder is on a recognised training pathway to a skilled trade and a skilled CSCS card.
